18 years old, resident of Abasan al-Jadida (a-Saghira), Khan Yunis District, killed on 22 Jul 2014 in ‘Abasan al-Jadidah (a-Saghirah), Khan Yunis District, by gunfire from an aircraft. Did not participate in hostilities. Additional information: Killed together with another person while they were standing with others close to Khalil a-Rahman Mosque.
Muhammad Talal Ibrahim al-Jarf
22 years old, resident of Abasan al-Jadida (a-Saghira), Khan Yunis District, killed on 22 Jul 2014 in ‘Abasan al-Jadidah (a-Saghirah), Khan Yunis District, by gunfire from an aircraft. Meir Amit identifies individuals killed in the 2014 Gaza war as “UNIDENTIFIED” when it was not possible to determine with certainty whether they were terrorist operatives, affiliated with terrorist organizations, or non-involved civilians.
Muhammad Talal Ibrahim al-Jarf’s “involvement in terrorism” classification by Meir Amit was “unidentified’.
Al-Jarf and Abu Anza were both targeted by an Israeli aircraft and killed together. There are no internet references to Hamza Abu Anza’s possible direct terror affiliation. It can therefore be concluded that like al-Jarf, he is also “unidentified”. But unlike al-Jarf, Abu Anza has a direct link to the terror organization Hamas and its military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades.
