الثاني عشر من أكتوبر لعام 1995م كانت رفح على موعد مع ولادة شبل الإسلام المخلص بشير محمد عبد العال، الذي أشرقت شمسه وبزغ ميلاده في مستشفى ناصر بمدينة خانيونس، وسط فرحة وسرور في أرجاء البيت، وأطلق عليه أخاه الأكبر اسم بشير تيمناً بالشهيد القسامي بشير حما رحمهما الله.
وكان يمتاز سلوك شهيدنا منذ طفولته بالسلامة والبساطة، وكان طيب المعشار وحسن الجوار ومواظف على فعل الخير وكان متميز بخفة روحه، وتميز مع والديه بحب السمع والطاعة، وكان باراً لهما، وكانت علاقته بهما مبنية على الاحترام والثقة، وكان رحمه الله يقدم مصلحة والديه على مصالحه الشخصية، وكان يجلس في محل بقالة لوالده ليريحه من عناء وتعب السهر في الليل، وكان دائماً يردد لأمه إذا ما قامت حرب سوف تكون حرب التحرير إن شاء الله.
كانت معاملته لأهل بيته وخاصة لإخوانه مبنية على الاحترام والتقدير والحب والإخلاص، وامتازت معاملته بالفكاهة وكان شعلة في الأداء وتقديم المساعدة، فكان يقضي احتياجات البيت بسرعة دون تردد وامتاز بخفة روحه مع الجميع، وكثرة الضحك والمزاح والنكات مع أهل البيت.
كان ينظرون إليه الجيران والأحبة له نظرة الارتياح وحب واحترام وتقدير لما كان يتصف بحسن المعشار وطيب الأخلاق معهم، فكان يسرع في تلبية احتياجاتهم وتقديم المساعدة لهم، ويغيث الملهوف وخاصة في فصل الشتاء، وكان يساعدهم في التخلص من اجتياح المياه لمنازلهم.
كان مواظباً على ارتياد المساجد والالتزام بالصلوات الخمس وحضور دروس الوعظ والإرشاد، وكان نشيطاً في مجال العمل الجماهيري والدعوة، وله مواقف عدة وذلك في شهر رمضان في قيام الليل، فكان ينظم برنامج الصلوات وتقديم الطعام والشراب للمصلين وكان يقوم بعمل المسحراتي.
مرحلته الدراسية
درس شهيدنا مرحلتي الابتدائية والإعدادية كباقي الطلاب الفلسطينيين اللاجئين في المدارس التابعة لوكالة الغوث في مدرستي ابن سينا الابتدائية، و(ج) الإعدادية للبنين، وكان من الطلاب المتفوقين والمتميزين، وكان نشيطاً في دراسته، وعمل في الكتلة الإسلامية، ومن ثم انتقل إلى مدرسة بئر السبع الثانوية وبقي كما هو على نشاطه حتى وصل الثانوية العامة ولم يحالفه الحظ في إكمالها، وقد كان سلوكه مع كل من عرفه من مدرسين وزملاء، طيب وحسن الأخلاق، وودود ويمتاز بروح الفكاهة والسلاسة والبساطة.
كان يعمل الشهيد منذ طفولته بالتجارة في الأسواق، ومن ثم عمل بعد الثانوية في محل بيع للأدوات المنزلية، وكان محباً لعمله ومخلصاً فيه وأمين عليه، وكان محبوباً لصاحب المحل وأهل الحي الكبار والصغار، وعندما علم صاحب المحل باستشهاد بشير أغلق المحل لفقدانه وعدم وجود شخص في أمانته.
فطر قلب بشير حباً للدين وغيرة عليه، وحمل بين جنباته رغبة في النصيحة لأجل رفعة الإسلام، ونما في قلبه حب الدين وحب نصرة الإسلام، وكان يمتاز بالغيرة على دعوته ويحب الالتزام في المسجد، وما أن فقدته تجده في المسجد، ونما في قلبه حب الدعوة وكان ملتزماً في الندوات والجلسات الخاصة بالمسجد.
وكان ملتزم في المسجد في كافة الفعاليات ويشارك إخوانه في النشاطات الخاصة بالمسجد، وكان له دور فعال وبارز في المسجد ويقوم بتصويرها وتوثيقها.
منذ الصغر انضم بشير في صفوف حركة المقاومة الإسلامية حماس وبدأ يشارك في جميع النشاطات من مهرجانات ومسيرات وكافة الأنشطة، وكان له دور فعال في مسجد الشهداء الذي كان بمثابة حمامة المسجد فيه وشعلته في العمل الحركي، حيث عمل في جهاز العمل الجماهيري من تعليق صوت المرابطين وتوزيع النشرات وحث الناس على المشاركة في المسيرات والمهرجانات وشارك إخوانه في الجماهيري في كافة الأنشطة.
عشق العمل المقاوم
عشق العمل المقاوم منذ صغره وكان يلح على إخوانه بالانضمام، ولكن بسبب صغر سنه لم يلتحق، ولكن ظل إصراره حتى التحق بالعمل الجهادي في عام 2013م، من خلال الالتحاق في إحدى الدورات العسكرية القسامية، وبعدها فرح فرحاً شديداً أنه التحق في صفوف القسام.
كان شهيدنا ملتزماً في كافة النشاطات العسكرية وأينما طلب منه في عمل ما تجده موجوداً، حيث كان دائماً يطلب من اخوانه الخروج في أعمال أخرى، عمل كجندي في وحدة المشاة بالتزامن مع عمله كمصور لوحدة النخبة القسامية وكان مقاوماً من خلف كاميرته.
كان حريصاً جداً على موعد رباطه حيث كان من الملتزمين في الرباط من حيث الموعد والهندام العسكري، وكان يخرج رباط عن إخوانه وكان حريص جداً على الرباط ولا يتأخر في أي نشاط من الأنشطة، ويمتاز بشير بالسمع والطاعة وشديد الذكاء وحسن الفراسة، ورغم صغر سنه كان همته بهمم الرجال لا يكل ولا يمل.
كان شهيدنا معطاءً في عمله دؤوب يحب العمل الجهادي، وكان جندي مخلص ونعم الإخلاص، وعمل كمصور مع إخوانه في دائرة الإعلام العسكري في كتائب الشهيد عز الدين القسام، وكان متفوق في عمله داخل صفوف إخوانه في المشاة وأيضاً متفاني في عمله الإعلامي.
بعد أن مضي ثلاث أيام على رباطه مع إخوانه طلبوا منه العودة وأنهم سيقومون بإحضار أخ بدلاً منه، ولكنه رفض وأصر على البقاء وكانت المجموعة مهمتها ضرب الكورنيت على آليات العدو ورصدها.
وأبرز الأعمال الجهادية التي قام بها شهيدنا خلال حياته الجهادية تم تكليفه بتصوير أعمال يقوم بها المجاهدين وهي إطلاق صواريخ 107 وقذائف الهاون، إلى جانب تكليفه بمرافقة إخوانه في ضرب الآليات في الصفوف المتقدمة في معركة العصف المأكول.
كان يقول لأحد المجاهدين قم بالتصوير مكاني وأنا سأضرب بدلاً منك بتبادل الأدوار، مرة من خلف كاميرته ومرة من خلف الكورنيت، وكان يردد الأناشيد الروحانية ويتحدث لهم عن الوداع، وسأله أحد الأخوة لما تنشد يا بشير، قال والله إني سعيد مما أراه في عدستي الحور العين أمامي.
كان يمتاز بالإثار وحب الخير للغير ومساعدة الآخرين وزيارة أهالي الشهداء والأسرى، ومداعبة الأطفال واللعب معهم ألعاب الأطفال الممتعة، كما كان يعلب مع أهل بيته ألعب ترفيهية وثقافية، وكان يتميز بتقليد بعض الأصوات المضحكة وغير ذلك، وكان يعشق التمثيل والتصوير.
ومن المواقف المميزة في حياة الشهيد أنه اتصل بأهله قبل ساعتين من استشهاده وأخبرهم أنّ عليه دين وأخبرهم أنه يشعر بالشهادة فاستغرب الأهل من اتصاله، وبعد ساعتين كان بشير يزف للحور العين.
ومن الكرامات بعد استشهاده أنّ أحد أصدقائه رأى في المنام بشير ممتطياً جواد أبيض اللون وقال له أخبر أهل غزة بأن الله معهم، فقال له الأخ كيف حالك أنت يا بشير، فرد عليه بشير، ماذا تريد من واحد يشرب من يد الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم.
وأيضاً من الكرامات رؤية أحد أصدقاءه المقربين أنه في مكان مثل الجزيرة داخل البحر وهناك نخل طويل رائع جداً، ودخل هذا الشاب المكان ووجده بين أناس لا يعرفهم، ولكن وجوههم بيضاء وكان بشير من ضمنهم، وعندما رءاه بشير بدأ يضحك ويبتسم وهو بلباس جديد وأمامه طعام.
موعد مع الشهادة
في خضم التصعيد الصهيوني والرد القسامي على الاعتداءات كانت ارهاصات الحرب تدق أوتار السلام، وبناءاً على قرار اللواء بإرسال استشهادي اعلامي مع وحدات النخبة، وقع القرار باختيار النُخب الاستشهاديين من فرسان الإعلام العسكري للكتائب وبناءاً على ذلك تم ترشيح الأخ الشهيد بشير عبد العال ومجاهداً آخر وتم الحاقهم بصفوف فصائل النخبة القسامية في الكتيبة.
دقت الحرب طبولها، وانهمرت صواريخ الاحتلال فقصف وقتل ودمار وحرق، وبين كُل تلك الهوائل انقطع التواصل مع الإخوة المجاهدين في النخبة ولم تستطع القيادة إرسال الإخوة بشير والمجاهد الآخر، غير أن بشير لم يكن ليدخر لحظة واحدة لا تُقربه إلى من خلق فيه هذه الروح الشجاعة، فبعد الحاح شديد من بشير على ضرورة مشاركته في أي عمل جهادي واشتياقه للقاء ربه يدفع روحه نحو البذل في سبيله، قامت القيادة بالتواصل مع الإخوة في سلاح الدروع ” النوعي” من اجل إرسال مصور لتوثيق عملهم الجهادي، وكان المربض يتطلب وجود مصور واحد وكان على الإخوة أن يختاروا أحد الاستشهاديين وهم بشير والمجاهد الآخر.
وبعد قرعة كان حكمها القدر وقع الإختيار فيها على المجاهد الاستشهادي بشير عبد العال كي يذهب لتوثيق تلك المهمة، وعند اخباره بوقوع اختيار عليه لا يمكن لأحد أن يصف فرحته الشديدة بذلك، وكأنه كان يعلم يقيناً بأنه ذاهب للقاء ربه.
موعد الشهادة
وفي مرابط الجهاد والشهادة كان الإخوة القائد محمد غانم والمجاهد عبدالله الأخرس والمجاهد بشير عبدالعال، مرابطين في مربضهم مع سلاح الكورنيت يتربصون الأهداف و لم تكن عين الكاميرا (بشير) لتغمض جفنها عن توثيق الأحداث على مدار سبعة أيام متتالية، فاستمر شهيدنا بأداء عمله دون كلل ولا ملل، ولكن لم يتمكن الأخوة من الحصول على هدف مناسب حتى أتيح لهم هدف وتردد الإخوة في استهدافه ظناً منهم أنه سيارة اسعاف، وبعد تقريب الصورة من خلال كاميرا بشير اتضح انه باص يقل عدداً من الجنود فكان القرار بضربه، وإطلاق صاروخ باتجاهه.
وثق الاستشهادي بشير استهداف وتدمير المربض الأول بالطيران الحربي الصهيوني على مدار تسعة أيام بقى بشير واخوته في المربض الثاني ووثق البطل بعدسته تقدم القوات البرية شرق رفح وأيضاً تفجير نفق الريان حتى تم رصدهم واستهدافهم بقذيفة مدفعية أدت إلى استشهادهم جميعاً لتصعد أرواحهم الطاهرة مُقبلة نحو السماء صائمين غير مدبرين.

INCIDENT SUMMARY
Abdel-Al was a photographer, he was sent to document the work of two terror operatives in the “armor corp”, Abdullah Salem al-Akhras and Mohammed Ziad Ghanem. Their weapon was the Kornet anti-tank guided missile.
After seven days of searching, they found a target, a bus carrying soldiers. They fired the Kornet missile, it malfunctioned, revealing their location, they left, went to a second location which was set up in advance.
They stayed in the second location for nine days, a house belonging to the Abu Asnimah family, east of Rafah. The house was targeted by Israeli artillery and the three terror operatives were killed.

Bashir Mohammad Abdul-‘Al was killed in a house east of Rafah after he and two other Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives attempted to hit an Israeli bus with a Kornet anti-tank missile.
WEBSITE’S FALSE NARRATIVES CREATE EXAGGERATED UNTRUTHFUL CIVILIAN CASUALTY FIGURES
The original Humanize Palestine website was a memorial for martyred Palestinian terrorists. The website created false narratives for these individuals by utilizing texts and photographs to conceal their terror organization affiliations. This allowed the website to represent these individuals as either civilian casualties of war or as innocent Palestinian protesters, all victims of the ‘Israeli occupation’.
Like Hamas, the original Humanize Palestine website created false narratives to support the deception that many more civilians were killed by the Israeli security apparatus than terror combatants. As stated above, this was accomplished by falsely representing martyred combatants and street terrorists as civilian casualties of war or innocent protesters. However, the original Humanize Palestine website enhanced this deception by utilizing an additional more subtle technique. Their website untruthfully exaggerated the number of incidents involving the deaths of martyred Palestinian terrorists who were falsely represented as civilian casualties of war. This created the perception that many more Palestinian civilians were killed than actually were. The Bashir Abdul-‘Al narrative is an example of this deception.
Bashir Abdul-‘Al was killed together with Mohammed Ziad Ghanem, in the same incident. However, the reader would never know this by reading the narratives appearing on the original Humanize Palestine website, Abdul-‘Al and Ghanem webpages.

Two different narratives falsely created the deception that they were both killed in two unrelated incidents. The truth is found on the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website:

The original Humanize Palestine website falsely created a narrative that Ghanem and Abdel-Aal had died in two separate incidents. But they did not, they were killed in the same incident, two Qassamis, Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives, falsely represented by the original Humanize Palestine website as civilian casualties of war.
CREATING FALSE NARRATIVES WITH PHOTOGRAPHS
The original Humanize Palestine website routinely did this, the photographs of the Palestinian ‘martyrs’ on their website concealed their terror organization affiliation. Bashir Mohammad Abdul-’Al was an example of this.

The photograph of Abdul-’Al on the left is how Abdul-’Al is portrayed on the original Humanize Palestine website, his terror organization affiliation concealed, 20 years old, killed on July 17, 2014 in Rafah minutes before a five-hour truce went into effect.
The photograph on the right is who Abdul-’Al truthfully was, a terror operative combatant. This is the Abdul-’Al who appears on the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website, the Abdul-’Al who worked as a soldier in the Infantry Unit in conjunction with his work as a photographer for the elite unit.
HAMAS / IZZ AL-DIN AL-QASSAM BRIGADES FUNDRAISING SCHEME
Prior to August 2020, the Hamas and Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades websites had a green banner at the top of their home page. This is how the home page of Hamas’ TV station, al-Aqsa TV, appeared on March 16, 2020:

The green banner contained an embedded URL that linked to the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website. Clicking on the green banner would open this webpage:
This was a fund raising scheme utilizing cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, to underwrite its terrorism (“resistance”). Note that the solicitation is in English. This would indicate that the fund raising scheme not only targeted Arabic speaking countries but English speaking western countries as well, such as the U.S.
In August 2020, the U.S. government seized the website, funds and assets:

The original Humanize Palestine website memorialized al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives, Bashir Mohammad Abdul-’Al was one example. In their own words, they honored the deceased terror operatives as martyrs by bringing them back to life through their pictures, stories, art, and poetry.
Now the victims of these terror operatives have been honored. The U.S. Department of Justice has seized al-Qassam Brigades assets, funds and websites, used to finance their terror campaigns. The monies will be directed to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund.
