يمضي أبطالُ معركةِ “العصف المأكول” بكل ثباتٍ وهم يخوضون معركتهم ضد الاحتلال الصهيوني المجرم، فخرجوا لهم من كل حدب وصوب، وأذاقوه الويلات والعذابات. 
فأبطالُ “وحدة الكمائن” التي ينتمي لها شهيدنا المجاهد محمد الكحلوت قد أعدت العدة للقاء أعداء الله، يخرجون للمحتل من كمائنهم التي أعدوها بكل جد ونشاطٍ وإخلاصٍ ليذيقوه شتى صنوف العذاب.

إطلالةُ القمرِ

في السابع من يوليو لعام 1992م، أبصر شهيدنا القسامي الدنيا، وبدأت انطلاقته على هذه الأرض، بين أكناف عائلة الكحلوت الملتزمة والمجاهدة والتي تعودُ أصولها إلى بلدة “نعليا” المحتلة عام 1948م، والتي هُجّر أهلها بالقوة حالها كحالِ القرى الفلسطينية الأخرى التي أُخرج أهلها من أرضهم إلى مخيماتِ اللاجئين في الوطنِ والشتاتِ. 
وفي طفولته اتسم شهيدنا – رحمه الله – بالهدوءِ في المعاملة وكان محباً للاستطلاعِ، ومتمتعاً بعلاقة ممتازة بكل من حوله من الأهلِ والأصدقاء والزملاء والأخوة في المسجدِ، وكانت علاقته بوالديه ممتازة على الرغم من أن أباه قد ابتعد لفترةٍ طويلةٍ أثناء دراسته بالخارج. 
تمتع شهيدنا بعلاقة جيدة مع إخوانه، فكان يحنو على الصغار ويطيع الكبار، ويساهمُ في حل مشاكلهم، ويعاملهم معاملة حسنة.

دراسته

درس شهيدنا المجاهد – رحمه الله – المرحلة الابتدائية والإعدادية في مدارس المخيم، ثم أكمل المرحلة الثانوية في مدرسة أبو عبيدة بن الجراح، وبعد أن أنهى الثانوية العامة بنجاح التحق بجامعةِ القدس المفتوحة لدراسة “تكنولوجيا المعلومات” إلا أنه فضل تخصص “الصحافة والإعلام” وأكمل في كلية الإعلام بجامعة الأقصى حتى ارتقى شهيداً قبل تخرجه بفصلٍ دراسي واحدٍ وقد التحق بالكتلة الإسلامية في مدرسة أبو عبيدة بن الجراح ثم أميراً للكتلة في مدرسة خليل الرحمن 2013-2014م، وترأس اللجنة الإعلامية في مسجد العودة إلى الله بمخيم جباليا.

في المسجدِ

عرف محمد – رحمه الله – طريق المسجد منذ طفولته واستمر على ذلك حتى استشهاده وقد تربى في مسجد العودة إلى الله من خلال حلقات تحفيظ القرآن الكريم والتي أصبح فيها أميراً لمجموعة فيها لاحقاً يدرسهم كتاب الله ويحفظهم آياته. 
نشط محمد في كافة نشاطات المسجد وترأس اللجنة الإعلامية في مسجد العودة إلى الله، وتميز بنشاطه الإعلامي والدعوة إلى الله في المسجد، كما تميز شهيدنا – رحمه الله – بالتزامه بالصلوات الخمس في المسجد جماعة، وخاصة صلاة الفجر التي كان ينبه إخوانه عليها، ويدعوهم للحرص عليها. 
شارك شهيدنا القسامي في معظم نشاطات المسجد ويعد لها ويدعو كل من حوله للمشاركة فيها، وخاصة المسيرات الجهادية والاحتفالات والمهرجانات التي كانت تنظمها حركة المقاومة الإسلامية في المسجد وخارجه. 
ونظراً لنشاطه وتميزه في العمل الدعوي رشحه إخوانه للانضمام إلى جماعة الإخوان المسلمين ومبايعتها وأن يصبح أحد أعضائها الفاعلين، فبايع الجماعة عام 2010م، وقد حصل شهيدنا على العديد من الدورات الدعوية وغيرها خلال مسيرته الدعوية في المسجد، فحصل على الطلائع والرواد ودورات في الخطابة والإعلام والتصوير وتصميم الفوتوشوب ودورة في إعداد المدربين.

في صفوف القسامِ

أحب شهيدنا المجاهد محمد الكحلوت الجهاد مبكراً، فمنذ صغره تمنى أن يكون جندياً في صفوف القسامِ يقاتل أعداء الله المجرمين، وينتقم من مغتصبي الأرض ومدنسي المقدسات وسارقي الوطن، وبعد إلحاحٍ شديدٍ على إخوانه، انضم شهيدنا إلى صفوف كتائب الشهيد عز الدين القسام وذلك في العام 2010م. 
وخلال مسيرته الجهادية ومشواره البطولي المشرف، هذه أبرز الأعمال التي نفذها وعمل بها شهيدنا القسامي محمد الكحلوت منذ التحاقه بركب مجاهدي القسام إلى أن التحق بقوافل الشهداءِ.
–    انضم شهيدنا إلى وحدة المرابطين القسامية التي ترابط على الثغور وتحمي حدود البلاد من أي توغل صهيوني محتمل. 
–    تلقى شهيدنا القسامي العديد من الدورات التدريبية العسكرية على مختلف أنواع الأسلحة. 
–    التحق شهيدنا المجاهد بوحدة الهندسة القسامية ومن مهامها إعداد العبوات الناسفة وزرعها وتفجيرها بالآليات الصهيونية. 
–    عمل شهيدنا لفترة في تخصص الإعلام العسكري. 
–    شارك شهيدنا القسامي في العديد من المهام العسكرية.
–    شارك شهيدنا القسامي في التصدي للعديد من التوغلات الصهيونية. 
–    شارك شهيدنا القسامي في حفر الأنفاق القسامية التي أرعبت اليهود ودكت حصونهم.

ورحل الحبيبُ

تمنى محمدٌ الشهادةَ في سبيلِ اللهِ مقبلاً غير مدبرٍ، ففي العاشر من شهر يوليو لعام 2014م، كان شهيدنا القسامي يعد كمينا متقدماً لصيد وصد قوات الاحتلال الصهيوني خلال معركة العصف المأكول شرق جباليا، وأثناء إعداده الكمين استهدفته طائرة حربية صهيونية بصاروخين، فارتقى محمد  وفاضت روحه الطاهرة إلى بارئها. 
لقد صدق الله فصدقه ونال ما تمنى من شهادة في سبيل الله بعد مشوارٍ جهاديٍ مشرف، صال وجال خلاله في ساحات الوغى وميادين الشرف والبطولة وتوّج عمله بالشهادة والارتقاء.

Prior to August 2020, the Hamas and Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades websites had a green banner at the top of their home page. This is how the home page of Hamas’ TV station, al-Aqsa TV, appeared on March 16, 2020:

The green banner contained an embedded URL that linked to the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website. Clicking on the green banner would open this webpage:

This was a fund raising scheme utilizing cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, to underwrite its terrorism (“resistance”). Note that the solicitation is in English. This would indicate that the fund raising scheme not only targeted Arabic speaking countries but English speaking western countries as well, such as the U.S.

In August 2020, the U.S. government seized the website, funds and assets:

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE SEIZURE

The original Humanize Palestine website memorialized al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives, Mohammad Kamel al-Kahlout and Amro Mohjez [Omar Khedr Attia Mahjaz] are two examples. In their own words, they honored the deceased terror operatives as martyrs by bringing them back to life through their pictures, stories, art, and poetry.

Now the victims of these terror operatives have been honored. The U.S. Department of Justice has seized al-Qassam Brigades assets, funds and websites, used to finance their terror campaigns. The monies will be directed to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund.
