مع أذان فجر الخامس والعشرين من شهر أغسطس عام 1992م، ولد شهيدنا بإذن الله تعالى – نحسبه كذلك ولا نزكيه على الله- جهاد ناجي أبو عامر في بلدة عبسان الكبيرة شرق مدينة خان يونس ليكون قرة عين لوالديه وبشارة خير لوطنه السليب، وبصيص أمل لأقصانا الأسير.
مع نسائم الفجر، وعبقات رياحينه، وتغريدات أطياره، خرج من رحم أمه عبداً راضيا ًمرضياً، أسمته أمه جهاد أملا منها أن يكون ولدها يوماً ما مجاهداً في صفوف المجاهدين الأبرار، فكان لها ما أمّلت، فاصطفى الله جهاداً مجاهداً شهيداً في سبيله.
في محراب العلم والعبادة
في ربوع بلدته عبسان الكبيرة، وفي محيط مسجده صهيب الرومي، نشأ وترعرع شهيدنا جهاد محافظاً على الصلاة منذ نعومة أظفاره، التحق بحلقات تحفيظ القرآن الكريم في مسجده حتى أكرمه الله بحفظ القرآن الكريم كاملاً. وهذا من كرم الله ورعايته لأوليائه.
كان يتقدم ليؤم الناس في مسجده رغم صغر سنه؛ وهذا من علامات اصطفاء الله له. فقد أتم شهيدنا حفظ القرآن وهو في السابعة عشر من عمره.
انتظر والده بشغف بلوغه سن السادسة ليدخلاه المدرسة؛ ليكون من التلاميذ المجتهدين المتفوقين.
في مدرسة عبسان الابتدائية أتم تعليمه الأساسي فكان متفوقاً على أقرانه، وأكمل دراسته الثانوية في مدرسة المتنبي، وكان من الطلاب الأوائل المتفوقين.
كان جهاد رحمه الله تعالى نموذجاً للطالب الخلوق المؤدب المهذب القدوة لزملائه في كل شيء، ترتسم على محياه معالم الفطنة والنجابة، وكان رحمه الله شامة في بيته، شامة في مسجده، شامة في مدرسته.
تخرج الشهيد من الثانوية العامة متميزاً متفوقاً ليلتحق بالجامعة الإسلامية حيث وجد ضالته في الجامعة الإسلامية؛ فالتحق بصفوف الكتلة الإسلامية؛ ليشق طريقة إلى العمل الدعوي والنقابي، خدمة لوطنه ودينه وأهله.
حياتي كلها لله
هذه العبارة كثيراً ما كان يرددها الشهيد جهاد رحمه الله، بل على أساسها ومفهومها بنا حياته لله رحمه الله.
وهب حياته وجهده ووقته وكل ما يملك لربه ودينه ووطنه ولقضيته التي حمل همها صغيراً ومن أجلها قدم روحه رخيصةً في سبيل الله.
فهو ابن الكتلة الإسلامية الذي يتفانى في خدمة إخوانه الطلاب، وهو الحافظ المحفظ لكتاب الله إيمانا منه بأن جيل التحرير هو جيل القرآن، وهو الخطيب الداعية الواعظ الذي يعظ الناس في مسجده، خاصة مواعظ صلاة التراويح، وهو طالب العلم الذي لا تحول بينه وبين طلب العلم العوائق. فربما ركب دراجته الهوائية من محافظة خان يونس حتى المحافظة الوسطى ليحضر دروس العلم.
في صفوف الإخوان
كان لهذه التربية الصالحة، والتنشأة الإيمانية التي ظفر بها الشهيد جهاد رحمه الله أثراً بالغاً في تكوين شخصيته التي جعلت منه إنسانا إيجابياً غيوراً على أمته ووطنه ومقدساته. فالتحق الشهيد رحمه الله بصفوف جماعة الإخوان المسلمين ” حركة حماس ” مبكراً وهو في الثامنة عشر من عمره، إيماناً منه بأهمية العمل الجماعي وضرورته.
تفتق وعي شهيدنا على مصائب أمته التي حلت بها. خاصة ضياع فلسطين فآلمه ذلك حتى أصبح شغله الشاغل أن يلتحق بصفوف المجاهدين ليؤدي واجبه الجهادي.
فثقافة الجهاد والمقاومة، والشهادة والاستشهاد من أهم مكونات فكره وثقافته رحمه الله.
فقد كان رحمه الله منذ صغره يكتب في كراساته المدرسية، وعلى جدران بيته ” الشهيد الحي جهاد ناجي ” بل كان شهيدنا يحلم بالجهاد والشهادة في منامه، “فقد رأى في منامه أنه يستشهد بصاروخ يصيبه في وجهه يقطعه أشلاء “.
في ركب المجاهدين
هذه التربية الجهادية هيئته للالتحاق بصفوف المجاهدين في كتائب الشهيد عز الدين القسام.
فقد استأذن والديه للالتحاق بصفوف القسام إلا أن والديه رفضا طلبه لصغر سنه، ولأنه لم يكمل الثانوية العامة بعد، فكان يبكي بحرقة من أجل ذلك.
فلما أتم الثانوية العامة تحقق له ما كان يرجوه فأخذ مكانه في صفوف المجاهدين، وكان من المرابطين الذي يحرص على القيام بواجبه على خير وجه، فكان رحمه الله من وحدات الاستشهاديين التي ترابط في الصفوف المتقدمة. كان مثالاً للمجاهد المنضبط في مواعيده، يقوم بكل ما كلف به على أتم وجه.
عمل الشهيد مع إخوانه في التجهيز والإعداد خاصة في حفر الأنفاق الجهادية وزراعة العبوات الناسفة، كما شارك في الكمائن المتقدمة.
بدأ شهيدنا جهاد أبو عامر مشواره في كتائب القسام بتخصص المشاة، عمل بعدها في تخصص الدروع، وحصل على دورات متقدمة في هذا التخصص.
عرف الشهيد جهاد بين إخوانه المجاهدين بالجرأة والشجاعة، وعشق الشهادة في سبيل الله، حتى تم اختياره في وحدات الاستشهاديين، ولما تأسست وحدات النخبة كان من أوائل الملتحقين بها رحمه الله رحمة واسعة.
على موعد
في شهر تموز عام 2014م اندلعت حرب دروس في قطاع غزة، معركة “العصف المأكول” بين مجاهدي غزة وعلى رأسهم كتائب الشهيد عز الدين القسام، وبين الكيان الصهيوني المغتصب لأرضنا ومقدساتنا، أبلى المجاهدون فيها بلاءً حسناً رغم اختلال موازين القوى.
ولأول مرة يواجه الصهاينة في تاريخهم طرازا من هذا النوع من المجاهدين الذين واجهوا الدبابات والطائرات وجنود العدو بالقليل من العتاد، فقاتلوا ببسالة منقطعة النظير حتى ارتد العدو على أدباره خاسراً مهزوماً دون أن يحقق أهدافه.
وفي هذه الأثناء كان شهيدنا جهاد مع إخوانه في أرض المعركة، في أحد الكمائن في منطقة الفخاري عبسان الكبيرة شرق خان يونس، ينتظر فريسته إلا أن قدر الله سبق إليه فأصيب المكان الذي كان يكمن فيه بصاروخين من طائرات العدو الصهيوني، فاستشهد، في تاريخ 23/7/2014م هو ومن معه جميعاً رحمهم الله رحمةً واسعة وتقبله في الصالحين .

In the jihadists ‘ knees
This jihadist education is to join the ranks of the mujahideen in the brigades of the martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam.

The original Humanize Palestine website narrative concealed Abu ‘Aamer’s al-Qassam Brigades affiliation, the narrative stated that he was simply killed and pulled out of the rubble after an Israeli airstrike.
Abu ‘Aamer was the target of the Israeli airstrike. Abu ‘Aamer was a terror combatant about to ambush Israeli troops.
CREATING FALSE NARRATIVES WITH PHOTOGRAPHS
The original Humanize Palestine website routinely did this, the photographs of the Palestinian ‘martyrs’ on their website concealed their terror organization affiliation. Jihad Naji Abu ‘Aamer is an example of this.

The green banner contained an embedded URL that linked to the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website. Clicking on the green banner would open this webpage:
This was a fund raising scheme utilizing cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, to underwrite its terrorism (“resistance”). Note that the solicitation is in English. This would indicate that the fund raising scheme not only targeted Arabic speaking countries but English speaking western countries as well, such as the U.S.
In August 2020, the U.S. government seized the website, funds and assets:

The original Humanize Palestine website memorialized Hamas and al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives, Jihad Naji Abu ‘Aamer was one example. In their own words, they honored the deceased terror operatives as martyrs by bringing them back to life through their pictures, stories, art, and poetry.
Now the victims of these terror operatives have been honored. The U.S. Department of Justice has seized al-Qassam Brigades assets, funds and websites, used to finance their terror campaigns. The monies will be directed to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund.
