THE FACTUAL NARRATIVE:
THE AL-MAGHRABI IZZ AL-DIN AL-QASSAM BRIGADES FAMILY
The al-Maghrabi family is an Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades terror family. These are some of them:
Below are two al-Maghrabi family members, who according to the B’Tselem narrative, did not participate in hostilities:
THE MEIR AMIT INTELLIGENCE AND TERRORISM INFORMATION CENTER
Two of the three people B’Tselem claims were killed with Abdul-Hamid al-Maghrabi who according to their database, “did not participate in hostilities”:
THE ABU ASI IZZ AL-DIN AL-QASSAM BRIGADES FAMILY
The B’Tselem database cites Nidal Jum’ah Muhammad Abu ‘Aasi as one of the three non-combatants who were killed with Abdul-Hamid al-Maghrabi. From the al-Qassam Brigades website, this is a member of the Abu Asi family:
From the al-Qassam Brigades website, this is Nidal Abu Asi’s brother:
THE DEATH OF ABDUL-HAMID AL-MAGHRABI
B’Tselem states that Abdu-Hamid al- Maghrabi was killed together with four other combatants in an Israeli invasion. In reality he was killed with one other combatant after he planted explosives on an Israeli tank, was tracked down, located and killed. The following five narratives for al-Maghrabi and the other four terrorists B’telem falsely states were all together when killed, were taken from their terror organizations’ websites, one from Meir Amit:
IZZ AL-DIN AL-QASSAM BRIGADES, ABDUL-HAMID AL-MAGHRABI WEBPAGE
“On the fourth day of the ground invasion of the Al-Zana region, the Zionist enemy chased our martyr by trying to bomb it with a reconnaissance missile more than once, after his heroic operation in which he detonated two shrapnel cans in a Merkava tank. Before the bombing, the enemy contacted his family to tell them to evacuate their house because he would bomb him, so he spoke through The radio for his Mujahideen brothers by taking precaution and caution because the enemy will bomb their house, and then the enemy was able to locate him by bombing him with a missile from the F-16, which led to his martyrdom, may God have mercy on him on Monday 23/7/2014.“
IZZ AL-DIN AL-QASSAM BRIGADES WEBSITE, NIDAL ABU DAQQA WEBPAGE
The end of the beginning
The eaten storm was on a date with the martyrs of the bones of Abu, except that they thickened the occupier and tasted him of stubbornness, and the struggle is one of the heroes who made martyrdom in the way of God their highest aspirations after they took the jihad their way. Moroccan, how similar the beginnings and endings, the struggle of the Qur’an was preserved by the martyr Abdel Hamid and he was martyred while accompanying him, and that was when he resisted the occupier in adultery, and he fulfilled their duties and disguise, so that the reconnaissance planes did not notice them, but God wrote to them the testimony and chose the heaven for them as a stable and good place And that was when they entered one of the places and were then targeted by the F-16 aircraft, to advance two martyrs, who knew what was known as negligence and complacency, and that was on July 21, 2014 in the Al-Zana area east of Khan Yunis; Sacrifice and redemption is the best title for the likes of these people. To their pure spirit is a thousand peace.
IZZ AL-DIN AL-QASSAM BRIGADES WEBSITE, KARAM IBRAHIM BARHAM WEBPAGE
A generous martyr in the eaten storm
Karam was talking about martyrdom and martyrs, and it is said: He was writing since his childhood: The living martyr Karam Barham, and our martyr rose in the Al-Zana area east of Khan Yunis after the martyr Abdul Hamid al-Maghrabi was targeted, where (Karam Barham) went to rescue him and then he was targeted by Zionist planes, and his testimony was on 7/21/2014 AD, and what was known about the martyr was that it was a lieutenant of the martyr Sheikh Abd al-Hamid al-Mughrabi.
AL QUDS BRIGADES WEBSITE, IBRAHIM ASSAD AL-QARA WEBPAGE
The journey of eternity
This divine victory of Abraham gave him and his Mujahideen brothers a strong impetus towards making more efforts to defeat the Zionist soldiers, as he decided on the next day to target another Zionist mechanism, but God’s destiny was faster, as Zion reconnaissance planes targeted him with a missile, so he went up a runway with his blood for an unjustified future Towards Alia Al-Majd on the date of 7/21/2014 AD, and he is fasting, so congratulations to you martyrdom, O Abu Malik, and to your family and relatives, patience and solace, and to your military arm, Al-Quds Brigades, victory and empowerment over God’s enemies.
MEIR AMIT INTELLIGENCE AND TERRORISM INFORMATION CENTER, MOHAMMAD ABD RABBO ALI AL-QARA
SUMMARY
Abdul-Hamid al-Maghrabi attacked an Israeli tank with explosives, the Israeli military (IDF) searched for him, targeting him several times with missiles, he survived.
The IDF contacted al-Maghrabi’s family, told them they planned to target their house, instructed them to evacuate their house – this was done with the expectation that the family would pass this information to al-Maghrabi and in the process his location would be revealed. It worked.
After al-Maghrabi was contacted by his family, he used his radio to communicate with his fellow fighters and pass on the information about the potential bombing of their houses. The transmission site of al-Maghrabi’s radio traffic was identified, he was then targeted by a missile and killed, killed along with Nidal Abu Daqqa.
After Abdul-Hamid and Nidal were targeted and killed, Karam Ibrahim Barham attempted a rescue. He was subsequently killed by another missile.
Ibrahim Assad al-Qara was killed in a separate incident when he attempted to attack an Israeli vehicle, he was targeted by a missile and killed.
Mohammad Abd Rabbo Ali al-Qara may have POSSIBLY been a terror operative. There is no mention of him on the al-Qassam Brigades website or the al-Quds Brigades website.
Abdul-Hamid al-Maghrabi WAS NOT killed “with four other armed-wing operatives”.
“Killed … during an army invasion” implies that the Palestinian terrorists involved in this incident were all VICTIMS, victims of an Israeli invasion.

“KILLED … DURING AN ARMY INVASION … BACKED BY THE BOMBING AND SHELLING OF … FARMLAND“, is one of many tropes found in the B’Tselem databases employing the image of “FARMLAND“
B’TSELEM’S USE OF THE TROPE
DEFINITION
A trope is a theme or plot element used many times, it creates recurrent images that influence an audience’s senses helping a writer achieve a desired effect. The meaning of the text is not literal, it is figurative.
B’TSELEM’S USE OF TROPES EMPLOYING THE WORD, “FARMLAND”
The following tropes employing the word “farmland” are commonly found in the B’Tselm databases:
Killed on farmland
A strike on farmland
Bombing and shelling of farmland
Killed when farmland was bombed
Killed while guarding farmland
Killed near farmland which was bombed
“Killed with others during an invasion backed by the bombing and shelling of homes and farmland” is one of many tropes employing the term “farmland“. “… backed by the bombing … of farmland” or some version of it, is a figurative theme or plot element used many times throughout their databases. In most instances it is literally not true. The metaphorical use of the word “farmland” in the B’Tselem story, conjures up a pastoral image of Palestinian land used for food production being needlessly destroyed. It is this narrative that creates an issue of moral legitimacy, that Israel does not adhere to conventionally accepted standards of conduct and that all Palestinians are victims.
There is absolutely nothing in the narrative that is truthful or factual, nothing about Maghrabi being specifically targeted. All that appears is a figurative expression to account for the death of a Palestinian combatant. The trope does what it is suppose to do, achieve a desired effect and influence the reader’s senses.
VICTIMIZATION
The B’Tselem databases create the illusion that Palestinian combatants killed by the Israeli security apparatus are victims, victims of an “occupier“. The Abdul-Hamid Mohammad al-Maghrabi narrative is an example of this misinformation.
Maghrabi, B’Tselem alleges, was killed with others during an invasion of the a-Zanneh area backed by the bombing and shelling of homes and farmland, a victim of Israeli aggression, the needless destruction of farmland and homes. By using the trope “bombing and shelling of homes and farmland“, B’Tselem conceals why Maghrabi was killed and what he was doing when he was targeted and killed.
The B’Tselem narrative above is patently false. Maghrabi WAS NOT killed WITH OTHERS backed by the bombing and shelling of houses and farmland. He was killed together with one other “Qassami”, when his radio traffic revealed his location. He was an IDF high value target, he had previously attacked an Israeli tank. Bombing and shelling farmland, which most likely never occurred, had absolutely nothing to do with his death.
The trope, “killed during an invasion backed by the bombing of farmland” conceals why Maghrabi was targeted and killed, and it accomplished what it was designed to do, define Maghrabi as a victim.
Abdul-Hamid Mohammad al-Maghrabi , the terror operative combatant, re-imagined by B’Tselem as the victim.
While the B’Tselem databases have re-imagined Palestinian terror operative combatants as victims, the U.S. Department of Justice has identified who the truthful victims were, they closed down a Hamas fundraising scheme and will redirect the Hamas assets to the factual victims, the victims of their terrorism. The event documented below occurred in August 2020:
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE SEIZURE
The original Humanize Palestine website memorialized Hamas and al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives, and B’Tselem represented them as victims, ‘Abd al-Hamid Muhammad ‘Abd al-Hamid al-Mughrabi is one example.
Now the real victims have been identified. The U.S. Department of Justice has seized al-Qassam Brigades assets, funds and websites, used to finance their terror campaigns. The monies will be directed to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund.
