Bahaa Alyan, 22 years old, was shot and killed by the Israeli army on October 13, 2015 after he allegedly stabbed an Israeli soldier. He was killed along with Mustafa al-Khatib.
Alyan was a graphic designer, peace activist, and always encouraged people to read and do positive things. He even entered the Guinness Book of Records last year, by organizing the world’s longest reader’s chain.
Alyan and Al-Khatib’s father left a message for the viewers of the world about their sons in this video: https://www.facebook.com/QudsN/videos/1017526671657567/?fref=nf
A message from the fathers of Bahaa Alyan and Mustafa al-Khatib: “Our children have chosen their path to liberation and heaven, and we only seek to support them on their path regardless of the consequences”
“Netanyahu has threatened to demolish our houses and take away our ID, and to refuse to return their bodies to us, but we say every house in Palestine is our house and every piece of land in Palestine is a grave for our children”
Another one of his friends on Facebook writes:
“To have such a young man like Baha’a who gave up all of his dreams and his family and friends to go to another world after a martyrdom operation is a proof and an indicator that the size of the tyranny of occupation cannot be tolerated at all, and that Palestinians aren’t afraid of painful executions as long as it serves as a way of revenge for his brothers and sisters.”
