المولد والنشأة
ولد شهيدنا المجاهد مؤمن رحمه الله تعالى في غزة بتاريخ 29/03/1990م، وعاش في أسرة مؤمنة ومحتسبة وصابرة ومثابرة، حيث ترعرع في بيوت الله تعالى ينهل من تعاليمها حتى أنه حفظ القرآن الكريم كاملاً رحمه الله، وكان يتصف ببشاشة الوجه مع أهله واخوانه الذين عرفهم وكان شديد البئس على الأعداء، وكان صاحب سر وكتمان في عمله الجهادي .
مراحل دراسته
بدأ شهيدنا المجاهد أبو الأمين دراسته الإبتدائية في المدارس التابعة لوكالة الغوث في معسكر الشاطئ، ثم انتقل للمرحلة الإعدادية في مدرسة الرمال الإعدادية للبنين في غزة، أما المرحلة الثانوية فقد انتقل شهيدنا ابو الأمين إلى مدرسة المنفلوطي في دير البلح ليتخرج منها، ثم أكمل تعليمه الجامعي في جامعة القدس المفتوحة فرع الوسطى تخصص سكرتاريا وارتقى فارسنا شهيداً وهو في السنة الثالثة من تعليمه رحمه الله تعالى .
وعمل شهيدنا رحمه الله تعالى في وزارة الداخلية “فرع تسجيل المسافرين” وكان أيضاً جنديا مطيعاً في كتائب الشهيد عز الدين القسام .
ما يميز شهيدنا
يتميز شهيدنا رحمه الله بأخلاقه الحسنة وصدقه والتزامه في المسجد، كما أنه كان حريصا للدعوة للجهاد في سبيل الله، وكان ضحوكاً يُمازحُ والده كثيراً، كما كان حريصاً في الحث على مساعدة الفقراء والمحتاجين وحث أهله وذويه على ذلك .
علاقته بأسرته
كان شهيدنا أبو الأمين رحمه الله تعالى عظيم الأخلاق، صادق في التعامل مع الآخرين يحب الناس ويحبونه، كان رفيقا حنونا على زوجته محباً لها ، وكان رحيماً ومحباً لجيرانه، كما أنه يبْقِي الكثير من الوقت من اجل خدمة الناس راجياً الأجر من الله تعالى، كان يحب والديه كثيراً متعلقاً بهماً يحبهم ويحبونه، لا يقول لهما أفٍ، كان مطيعاً مخلصاً لهما،
أما علاقته مع اخوانه فهي لم تكن علاقة اخوية فحسب ، بل كانت علاقة قوية ومتينة، وكان بمثابة الاب الحنون لأخواته وكان من الحريصين على صلة الرحم .
مواقف لا تنسى
يذكر أنه كان في أحد الأيام في عمله حيث أصيب إصابة كادت أن تؤدي إلى استشهاده، ورغم ذلك مرت عدة أيام بعد هذه الحادثة ولم يخبر أحد عنها، وبينما جاء عدد من أصدقاءه لزيارته ليسلموا عليه بعد سلامة الإصابة إنكشف أمر إصابته في تلك اللحظات، كان كتوماً للغاية ، أما عن مواقف النبالة والكرم فقد كان لديه أحد الأصدقاء الأعزاء الذين لا مأوى لهم فقام بجعله يسكن عنده راجياً مرضاة الله سبحانه وتعالى .
كيفية الإستشهاد
ارتقى فارسنا أبو الأمين في يوم 21 من شهر لرمضان الموافق 19/07/2014م في معركة العصف المأكول، حيث كان جندياً من جنود النخبة القسامية التابعة لكتائب القسام، حيث كان عمله في الكمائن المتقدمة التي تختص في التصدي لتقدم القوات الصهيونية المتقدمة شرق دير البلح، فبينما كان شهيدنا رباط متقدم في أحد المنازل المتقدمة الحدودية، قامت طائرات الحقد الصهيونية بالإغارة على المنزل الذي كان يتحصن فيه وهو ومن معه مما أدرى إلى استشهاده على الفور، فنال عظيم الدرجات، فرحمه الله تعالى واسكنه الفردوس الأعلى من الجنة .

Memorable situations

THE FACTS
FACT #1:
Abu Dan WAS NOT killed in a raid against Israeli forces. He was killed while waiting to ambush Israeli forces. He was known in the al-Qassam Brigades as the “Martyr of Ambushes”:
“شهيد الكمائن”
Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website: “… he worked in advanced ambushes … while he was … our martyr is an advanced bond in one of the advanced border houses, the Zionist grudge planes raided the house where he and those with him were holed up, which led to his martyrdom immediately ….”
FACT #2:
Abu Dan WAS NOT a Qassam Commando.
The definition of a commando: “A soldier specially trained to carry out raids, quick destructive raids against enemy-held areas.”
Mu’min Abu Dan was not a commando, he was the “Martyr of Ambushes”, he did not participate in any raids against Israeli troops or raids into Israeli territory.
CREATING FALSE NARRATIVES WITH PHOTOGRAPHS
The original Humanize Palestine website routinely did this, the photographs of the Palestinian ‘martyrs’ on their website concealed their terror organization affiliation. Mu’min Abu Dan was an example of this.

The photograph of Abu Dan on the left is how Abu Dan is portrayed on the original Humanize Palestine website, his terror organization affiliation concealed, killed on July 19, 2014 in a raid against the Israeli Occupation Forces.
The photograph on the right is who Abu Dan truthfully was, an Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades terror operative combatant. This is the Abu Dan who appears on the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website, the Abu Dan who was in an advanced bond in one of the advanced border houses, the Zionist grudge planes raided the house where he and those with him were holed up.
Abu Dan was not a “Qassam commando” and he was not killed in a raid against Israeli forces, he was an Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades terror operative combatant who was killed in a house where he was participating in an ambush to kill Israeli forces. The photograph that appears on the original Humanize Palestine webpage does not represent who he was and the text reinforces the obfuscation.
HAMAS / IZZ AL-DIN AL-QASSAM BRIGADES FUNDRAISING SCHEME
Prior to August 2020, the Hamas and Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades websites had a green banner at the top of their home page. This is how the home page of Hamas’ TV station, al-Aqsa TV, appeared on March 16, 2020:

The green banner contained an embedded URL that linked to the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website. Clicking on the green banner would open this webpage:
This was a fund raising scheme utilizing cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, to underwrite its terrorism (“resistance”). Note that the solicitation is in English. This would indicate that the fund raising scheme not only targeted Arabic speaking countries but English speaking western countries as well, such as the U.S.
In August 2020, the U.S. government seized the website, funds and assets:

The original Humanize Palestine website memorialized al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives, Mu’min Abu Dan was one example. In their own words, they honored the deceased terror operatives as martyrs by bringing them back to life through their pictures, stories, art, and poetry.
Now the victims of these terror operatives have been honored. The U.S. Department of Justice has seized al-Qassam Brigades assets, funds and websites, used to finance their terror campaigns. The monies will be directed to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund.
