On Friday, August 1, 2014, Israel targeted and attacked the house belonging to the al-Farra family in Maan, south of Khan Younis. The attack, which consisted of a drone strike followed by an F-16 missile, killed 9 members of the family and injured sixteen others.

Khan Younis – Maan || On Tuesday 9-9-2014, a delegation from the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas”, led by the deputy head of the movement’s political bureau and former Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh with some of the prominent leaders, attended to offer condolences to the family martyrs who rose to the top during the recent aggression on Gaza .

Among the most prominent leaders present is Dr. Musa Abu Marzouq, the former head of the political bureau and his deputy and one of its members now, Dr. Khalil al-Hayya, a member of the political bureau of the movement, Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, the official spokesman for the movement, and Dr. Younis al-Astal, one of the flags of the movement and its representatives in the Legislative Council.

ودعت جماهير محافظة خان يونس ظهر اليوم الأحد القيادي في حماس الشيخ سليمان الفرا، وتقدم المشيعين عدد من قيادة حركة حماس أبرزهم رئيس المكتب السياسي إسماعيل هنية، ورئيس الحركة في القطاع يحيى السنوار.

وقال هنية في كلمة له قبيل صلاة الجنازة إننا نودع اليوم علماً من أعلام شعبنا الفلسطيني المرابط وعالماً مجاهدا في سبيل الله تعالى، ومربياً فاضلاً ومصلحاً مباركاً عرفته خانيونس، كما عرفه كل قطاع غزة.

وأثنى هنية على سيرة الشيخ سليمان الفرا وأخلاقه وتواضعه وحبه لإخوانه وشعبه ووطنه، وعلى إسهامه في الدعوة والإصلاح بين الناس.

وقدم هنية تعازيه لأهالي خانيونس عامة ولعائلة الفرا خاصة، سائلاً المولى له الرحمة والقبول، وأن يلهم أهله الصبر والسلوان.

وتوفي القيادي في حماس الشيخ سليمان الفرا فجر اليوم الأحد الخامس من ذي الحجة 1438 هـ عن عمر ناهز 67 عاماً قضاها في الدعوة والجهاد والإصلاح بين الناس.

SUMMARY

The adult casualties consisted of Abdul-Malek, his son Osama and Osama’s wife, as well as Emad. In addition, five children were killed. Israel didn’t target the al-Farra house, they targeted Abdul-Malek al-Farra and his son Osama, high ranking members of the terror organization Hamas. The house was attacked with three missiles to bring the target, Abdul-Malek, out into the street, where he was killed by a fourth missile.

THE FACTS

The al-Farra family is VERY different from other families living in the Gaza Strip. The deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau and former Palestinian Prime Minister, Ismail Haniyeh, doesn’t make condolence visits to the average family in the Gaza Strip.

Brutality of the Israeli occupation? The targets of the missile strike were terrorists, high ranking members of a U.S. designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, who for self preservation, had surrounded themselves in the street with women and children, members of their own family.

Shocking to find out her cousins were killed? She should have known that they held significant positions in the Hamas terror organization, they were high-value terror targets and a knowledgable person would know that a military strike could occur at any time.

This was a fund raising scheme utilizing cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, to underwrite its terrorism (“resistance”). Note that the solicitation is in English. This would indicate that the fund raising scheme not only targeted Arabic speaking countries but English speaking western countries as well, such as the U.S.

Now the victims of these terror operatives have been honored. The U.S. Department of Justice has seized al-Qassam Brigades assets, funds and websites, used to finance their terror campaigns. The monies will be directed to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund.
