الميلاد والنشأة
ولد الشهيد محمود غانم في مخيم البريج في العيادة التابعة لوكالة الغوث، وذلك يوم الأربعاء بتاريخ 8/9/1993م، فازداد البيت بهجة بقدومه، وعمت الفرحة أرجاء العائلة ومنازل الحي.
كان شهيدنا القسامي محمود مرحا وضحوكا جدا في فترة طفولته كباقي الأطفال، وفي هذه الفترة كان باراً بوالديه يسعى في قضاء حوائجهما، ودماً يطلب منها الدعاء له بالتوفيق والنجاح.
وأما عن علاقته بإخوانه فقد كان يعاملهم بكل ود وحب، حنونا جدا على إخوته وأهل بيته، يملأ البيت دفئا وحنانا، وكانت علاقته بأقاربه وجيرانه قائمة على الحب والاحترام المتبادل، يشارك الجميع أفراحهم وأتراحهم.
دراسته وعمله
تلقى شهيدنا القسامي محمود غانم تعليمه في مدرسة أبو هريرة، وكان تعامله مع زملائه قائما على الود والمرح والنشاط، فعرف بأدبه وأخلاقه العالية وبتواضعه، وكان يعامل معلميه بكل احترام وبخلق حسن، وبذلك كسب محبة الجميع له.
لم يتسنى لشهيدنا دخول الجامعة ولكنه التحق بصفوف الكتلة الإسلامية، وعمل على بناء علاقات حميمة قائمة على المحبة والاحترام، ولقد برز شهيدنا في جميع الأنشطة والفعاليات التي كانت تقام.
أما عن مهنة شهيدنا فقد عمل في السوق التجاري، وكانت علاقته في عمله قائمة على الاحترام المتبادل والتعاون والتواضع، وعلى المحبة أيضا، فكان محبوبا بين العاملين وبين الناس.
ركب الدعوة والجهاد
تربى شهيدنا في المساجد منذ صغره ، حيث كان من رواد المساجد، يصلي جميع صلواته في المسجد الكبير، والتزم في حلقات تحفيظ القرآن الكريم، ودروس السيرة النبوية العطرة.
وكانت له عدة نشاطات جماهيرية في صفوف الكتلة الإسلامية، والتحق بركاب الدعوة عام 2010م وانضم إلى حركة المقاومة الإسلامية حماس من خلال ما اشتهر به من أخلاق وسلوك حسن مع الجميع، ومن خلال مداومته في المسجد،.
انضم شهيدنا إلى صفوف كتائب القسام، فقد كان حلمه الوحيد في ذلك الوقت، فحين تمت الموافقة على اسمه ليكون من عناصر كتائب القسام كاد يطير من شدة الفرح، لأنه حقق ما أراد.
وبعدها خاض شهيدنا محمود العديد من الدورات العسكرية القسامية التي تؤهله لأن يكون مقاتلاً قساميا صنديداً تهابه الأعداء إن حط بساحتهم يوما منازلاً في يوم يعز الله فيه الإسلام والمسلمين.
تميز شهيدنا بحبه للرباط والسمع والطاعة لقيادته وإخوانه، كما كان صاحب همة عالية في عمله، وشارك في حفر الأنفاق القسامية والرباط على الثغور والحراسة في المناطق الداخلية، وكذلك اشترك في الأنشطة العسكرية المختلفة في منطقته.

He rode the call and jihad
Our martyr was raised in the mosques since he was young, where he was a pioneer of mosques, praying all his prayers in the Grand Mosque, and committed in the circles of memorization of the Koran, and the lessons of the prophetic biography.
He had several mass activities in the ranks of the Islamic bloc, joined the call-up in 2010, joining the Islamic resistance movement Hamas through his famous manners and good behaviour with all, and through his malnourished in the mosque.
Our martyr joined the ranks of al-Qassam Brigades, he was his only dream at the time, when his name was approved to be a component of the Qassam Brigades, he almost flew from joy, because he achieved what he wanted.
And then our martyr Mahmoud fought many of the Alksamet military courses that qualify him to be a fighter of the battle of the enemies of the enemy, to put in their yard a day of houses on the day when God honors Islam and Muslims.
Our martyr was distinguished by his love for Rabat, hearing and obedience to his leadership and brothers, as he was very active in his work, and participated in digging tunnels Alksamet and Rabat on the gaps and guarding in the interior, as well as participating in various military activities in his area.

A NEW MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD SYMBOL: R4BIA
The rebranding of jihad.

There is a new Islamist symbol appearing in protests, on social networking sites and at demonstrations throughout the Middle East. The symbol allegedly originated as a four-fingered hand sign by pro-Morsi protesters during demonstrations in Egypt’s Rabia al-Adawiya Square. The hand gesture quickly evolved into an image of the hand commonly depicted in black on a bright yellow background. It is called the “R4BIA sign.” In English it is officially spelled in capital letters and the letter “A” is replaced with the number 4. It has become the symbol of the massacre of pro-Morsi supporters in Rabia al-Adawiya Square on August 14, 2013. This new sign already has its own history, legend and mysticism and it contains all the attributes that Islamists favor in their symbology, particularly martyrdom.
The design of the symbol has been endowed with characteristics of the sacred in Islam: the color yellow used in the background signifies the golden Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem and the hand depicted in the color black denotes the black cloth that covers the Kaaba.

Mahmoud Ganeem WAS NOT killed in the al-Boreij refugee camp. He was killed east of the refugee camp while with other al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives, waiting to ambush Israeli soldiers.
CREATING FALSE NARRATIVES WITH PHOTOGRAPHS
The original Humanize Palestine website routinely did this, the photographs of the ‘martyrs’ on their website concealed their terror organization affiliation. Mahmoud Ganeem was an example of this.

The photograph of Ganeem on the left is how Ganeem is portrayed on the original Humanize Palestine website, his terror organization affiliation concealed, 21 years old, was killed on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in al-Boreij Refugee Camp, central Gaza.
The photograph on the right is who Ganeem truthfully was, a terror operative combatant. This is the Ganeem who appears on the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website, the Ganeem who participated in digging tunnels Alksamet and Rabat on the gaps and guarding in the interior, as well as participating in various military activities in his area; targeted by warplanes with three of his brothers while they were in a kassam ambush prepared for the enemy soldiers as soon as they passed.

The green banner contained an embedded URL that linked to the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website. Clicking on the green banner would open this webpage:
This was a fund raising scheme utilizing cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, to underwrite its terrorism (“resistance”). Note that the solicitation is in English. This would indicate that the fund raising scheme not only targeted Arabic speaking countries but English speaking western countries as well, such as the U.S.
In August 2020, the U.S. government seized the website, funds and assets:

The original Humanize Palestine website memorialized al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives, Mahmoud Ganeem was one example. In their own words, they honored the deceased terror operatives as martyrs by bringing them back to life through their pictures, stories, art, and poetry.
Now the victims of these terror operatives have been honored. The U.S. Department of Justice has seized al-Qassam Brigades assets, funds and websites, used to finance their terror campaigns. The monies will be directed to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund.
