Mohammed Khalaf al-Nawasra, 4 years old, and Nidal Khalaf al-Nawasra, 2 years old, were killed on July 9, 2014 in al-Maghazi refugee camp.
Salah Awwad al-Nawasra, 24 years old, was the father of Mohammed and Nidal and husband of ‘Aesha. He was a telephone technician in Gaza.
‘Aesha Najm al-Nawasra, 23 years old, was the mother of Mohammed and Nidal and the wife of Salah. She was four months pregnant when she was killed.
Mariam al-Nawasra, 83 years old, was the mother of Khalaf and grandmother of Mohammed and Nidal.
They were all killed when Israel bombed their home in Maghazi refugee camp on July 9, 2014.

على الرغم من مرور عامين على حرب غزة صيف 2014، إلا أن رائحة الموت لا زالت تفوح في كل مكان من قطاع غزة المكلوم.
أينما توجه ناظرك تجد آثار دمار لا تزال موجودة، أو عمال بناء يشيدون ما دمره الاحتلال، هنا غزة كُتب عليها الشقاء فثبتت، خذلها الجميع فوقفت، خانها الكل فضحت.
ففي اليوم الثالث من حرب غزة بتاريخ 9/7/2014 ارتكب الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مجزرة جديدة جراء قصف منزل عائلة النواصرة في مخيم المغازي وسط قطاع غزة، والذي أدى إلى استشهاد أربعة، من بينهم سيدة وطفلين.
بجانب أنقاض منزل النواصرة في المغازي كانت الجدة تنتظر جسد حفيدها الذي يبلغ من العمر عامين فقط، استخرجوا رأسه فقط، وبقي جسده تحت الأنقاض، بينما فقدت الجدة ابنها وزوجة ابنها الحامل، وعدد من أحفادها، فيما هي الناجية الوحيدة .. وتسألون عن ألم غزة بعدها؟
المجزرة الإسرائيلة البشعة خطفت أرواح الطفل الشهيد محمد خلف عوض النواصرة “عامين”، والطفل الشهيد نضال خلف النواصرة “4أعوام”، والشهيدة عائشة شبيب نجم “23 عاما”، والشهيد صلاح عوض النواصرة “23 عاما”.
وأصيب بالمجزرة البشعة الشاب خلف النواصرة 29 عاما، والمسنة مريم النواصرة “83عاما”.
ذكرى تجدد الآلام
مثلت مجزرة عائلة النواصرة صدمة كبيرة لسكان مخيم المغازي وسط قطاع غزة، حيث تمثلت فيها غطرسة ووحشية ودموية قوات الاحتلال أمام المدنيين العزل.
مشاهد الموت والدمار التي تجلت في قصف منزل عائلة النواصرة المكون من طابقين باطون، لا تزال حاضرة في عقول سكان المخيم الذي انتفض للمشاركة في انتشال الجثث من تحت أنقاض المنزل، كما انتفض المخيم للمشاركة في جنازة الشهداء الأربعة.
وعلى الرغم من مرور عامين على المجزرة التي لا تزال حاضرة في وجدان وعقول العائلة المكلومة، إلا أن سكان المخيم يشاطرون العائلة مصابها في كل عام، يتذكرون آلامهم، ويواسوا جراحهم، ويجددون عهدهم على الثأر لدماء شهدائهم.

The gruesome Israeli massacre took the lives of the martyr edited child Mohammed Khalaf Awad al-Nawasra ,”two years”, the martyr edited child Nidal Khalaf al-Nawasra ,the martyr Aisha Shabib Najm ,23 years old, and the martyr Salah Awad al-Nawasra.
The 29-year-old, aged 19, and mariam al-Nawasra, 83, was injured in the gruesome massacre.
The Memory of Renewed Pain
The massacre of the Al-Nawasra family came as a major shock to the residents of al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, where the arrogance, brutality and bloodiness of the occupying forces were represented in front of unarmed civilians.
The scenes of death and destruction that were manifested in the bombing of the two-storey house of the Al-Nawasra family in Batun are still present in the minds of the camp’s residents, who rose up to participate in the recovery of the bodies from the rubble of the house, and the camp rose up to participate in the funeral of the four martyrs.
Despite two years of massacre, which is still present in the conscience and minds of the bereaved family, camp residents share their injuries every year, remembering their pain, touching their wounds, and renewing their vow to avenge the blood of their martyrs.

At approximately 2:55pm on Wednesday 9 July 2014, Israeli aircraft attacked with one missile the house of Awad Al Nawasra (50) while residents were inside. The house was attacked without warning. The two-story house was about 170 square meters in area and is located in Al Waz (Geese) Pool area east to As-Sekka area in the refugee camp of Al Maghazi. The house was damaged and four people were killed, including two children, and two other people were injured. The house was targeted again on 20 and 26 August 2014 and was totally destroyed. Two people were injured and several adjacent houses were damaged due to these attacks.
Al Mezan has identified the names of people who were killed as follows:
Salah Awad Al Nawasra (22);
Aisha Shabib Mahmoud Al Nawasra (23) Salah’s wife;
Nedal Khalaf Al Nawasra (4) Salah’s grandson; and
Mohammed Khalaf Al Nawasra (2) Nedal’s brother.

This was a fund raising scheme utilizing cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, to underwrite its terrorism (“resistance”). Note that the solicitation is in English. This would indicate that the fund raising scheme not only targeted Arabic speaking countries but English speaking western countries as well, such as the U.S.
In August 2020, the U.S. government seized the website, funds and assets:

The original Humanize Palestine website memorialized Hamas, al-Qassam Brigades terror operatives, and their families, Salah Awwad al-Nawasra and the al-Nawasra family is one example. In their own words, they honored the deceased terror operatives as martyrs by bringing them back to life through their pictures, stories, art, and poetry.
Now the victims of these terror operatives have been honored. The U.S. Department of Justice has seized al-Qassam Brigades assets, funds and websites, used to finance their terror campaigns. The monies will be directed to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund.
